Club night raises money for arms trade campaigns

Demo is club night in Nottingham featuring live bands, DJs, acoustic jams, great decor and a cafe serving hot and cold food and drinks. But more than that, each event raises awareness and campaign funds for a different important social issue. On March 14th the theme was the arms trade. The night was very popular, and as well as raising money for the Campaign Against the Arms Trade, the organisers kindly donated £100 to our own campaign against local arms company Heckler & Koch.

Just a shame that nights at Blueprint also raise money for the club’s BNP member owner.

The owner denies being a member of the BNP and claims it’s a smear campaign. No one is really sure what the next step in sorting the issue out is. Any ideas warmly received by the demo crew!
